Getting the right LED coaster size for your Audi starts with a quick measurement of the cup holder’s inner diameter (the usable opening where the coaster will sit). A coaster that’s too large won’t lay flat, and one that’s too small can slide around, letting light spill unevenly.
Wipe out debris and remove rubber mats or factory inserts if they’re separate pieces. You want to measure the actual surface the LED coaster will rest on, not a removable liner that changes the diameter.
Use a ruler or, ideally, a tape measure with clear markings. Measure straight across the cup holder from inner edge to inner edge at the widest point. Take two measurements—front-to-back and left-to-right—since some holders are slightly oval. Use the smaller number to ensure the coaster fits without binding.
Some Audi cup holders taper. If you can, measure the diameter where the coaster will actually sit flat (often slightly lower than the top lip). If the bottom seat is smaller than the top opening, size to the bottom seat so the coaster lays fully flush.
Depth doesn’t usually change size selection, but it affects usability. If the holder is deep or has tight sidewalls, pick a size that allows you to lift the coaster out easily without pinching or scraping the edges.
Match your measurement to the coaster diameter as closely as possible. When you’re between sizes, choosing slightly smaller is typically safer than forcing a tight fit.

Fit varies by model and year because cup holder openings and taper can differ. Measuring your specific cup holder is the most reliable way to confirm compatibility.
