A calmer morning often begins the night before. You do not need a long routine. Two focused minutes can remove several small decisions and help tomorrow start with direction.
Choose the place where the morning begins: kitchen counter, entry table, bathroom sink, or desk. Remove trash, return stray items, and leave the surface ready for the first task.
Set out one thing that supports tomorrow—keys by the door, a filled water bottle, workout clothes, a written top priority, or breakfast ingredients. Prepare only the first move, not the entire day.
If your mind is busy, write three lines before bed.
Do not let the two-minute reset grow into an exhausting cleaning session. Its power comes from being easy enough to repeat, even on difficult evenings.
Set a two-minute timer tonight and stop when it rings. A routine you can repeat is more useful than a perfect routine you avoid.
